Therapists

Livia Fontes, LMT/Owner

When Livia Fontes isn’t jumping over fires or traveling to festivals around the world, she is helping clients integrate massage and bodywork into their self-care routine. Livia’s mission is to make massage accessible, convenient and affordable for everyone.

Livia earned a Bachelor of Science from Fitchburg State, having planned to teach Social Studies. After pursuing a brief stint as an educator, she made a career shift to massage therapy. She had found her path where she was able to help people one on one. Livia teaches her clients to listen and pay attention to what their bodies are telling them.

Livia completed her massage training in 2003 from the Palmer Institute of Massage & Bodywork and additional certifications at Bancroft School of Massage and Cortiva (formerly Muscular Therapy Institute, MTI). Since starting Healing Hands in 2005, she has been bringing massage directly into the homes of everyday people who want to heal.

Tabitha Jannini, LMT

Tabitha Jannini is a licensed massage therapist specializing in wellness massage and bodywork for relaxation, therapeutic benefit and healing. Tabitha graduated from Muscular Therapy Institute (MTI) in Watertown, Massachusetts in 2008.

Following the birth of her first son, Tabitha realized her purpose and gift for helping others achieve healing and wellness. Tabitha has always had a passion for science and uses her knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology to get to the root of what ails her clients. With a focus on structural integration, Tabitha thrives at helping others get connected to their bodies to obtain increased range of motion while also taking a much-needed moment of sanity. In 2011, after welcoming a second son, Tabitha decided to leave her corporate job so that she could devote herself full time to the service of healing through massage.

When not working, Tabitha keeps her focus by gardening, taking frequent trips to the ocean and enjoying moments of comedy wherever she can find it.

Kira Ferenbaugh, LMT

Kira is a licensed massage therapist who came to this profession as her children were preparing to fly from the family nest. She completed her education at Lincoln Technical Institute in Rhode Island in 2020 and has been happily offering the benefits of therapeutic massage since. Kira offers a customizable massage for each of her clients. Her slow approach is soothing while still using medium pressure to help the body to unwind at its own pace to access the deeper layers.

Kira also offers abdominal massages. She has many family members who struggle with a slow digestive track and IBS symptoms. This inspired her to receive ongoing training in this field. Gentle massage of the abdomen can also reduce tension overall, often giving you the space to take a deep breath with more ease.

When Kira isn't massaging her lovely clients, she is stopping to smell the roses on her daily walks... watching the clouds as they are illuminated by the fiery sunset or receiving a massage herself, so she can sleep deeply because a good sleep is the true foundation for lifelong wellness.
